1. Scope

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, platforms, payment processors, advertising services, app stores, or other services that are not controlled by Tigbit, even if they are linked to or integrated with the Services. 2. Age Restriction
Tigbit is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit use by minors and do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we may restrict access, suspend or terminate the account, and delete the information as appropriate.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide to us, information collected automatically when you use the Services, information from third parties, and information generated through your use of the Services.
3.1 Information you provide directly
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following:
- Account information, such as your email address, username, display name, login credentials, and authentication details.
- Profile information, such as profile image, biography, preferences, and settings.
- Content and communications, such as prompts, messages, character definitions, character metadata, uploaded images, reports, support messages, survey responses, and other content you submit through the Services.
- Character publishing information, including whether a character is public or private, descriptions, tags, media, prompts, system instructions, and related settings.
- Notification preferences, including whether you opt in to push notifications and your notification settings.
- Billing and subscription information, such as subscription status, purchase history, transaction identifiers, and platform/provider records relating to purchases made through Apple, Google, or other payment channels. We do not receive full payment card details when purchases are processed by app stores or external payment providers.
- Safety and moderation submissions, including user reports, appeals, and related evidence or explanations you provide.
3.2 Information we collect automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:
- Device and technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, browser type, language, time zone, crash data, and other device metadata.
- Identifiers, such as IP address, device identifiers, cookie identifiers, session identifiers, and similar identifiers.
- Usage information, such as pages viewed, screens visited, features used, clicks, taps, session duration, referring pages, approximate timestamps, and interactions with characters and other content.
- Log and security information, such as access times, request logs, authentication events, abuse-prevention signals, moderation signals, diagnostic data, and records used to detect fraud, spam, unauthorized access, or misuse.
- Push notification interaction data, such as whether a push notification was delivered, opened, dismissed, or acted upon.
We do not currently collect precise geolocation information and do not collect your contacts.
3.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from third parties, such as:
- app stores and payment providers, including subscription and transaction status;
- sign-in or authentication providers, if you choose to use them;
- analytics, hosting, infrastructure, support, moderation, fraud-prevention, or similar service providers;
- advertising, attribution, or measurement providers, if and when we use them; and
- other users, for example if they report your content or account.
3.4 Public content and character continuity data
If you create or publish characters or other content publicly, that content may be visible to other users.
To preserve conversation continuity, safety, moderation integrity, and user experience, we may maintain internal records relating to different versions of a published character and the version associated with particular conversations. For example, if a published character is edited after users have already begun conversations with it, we may preserve prior configurations or related records so those existing conversations are not disrupted.
4. How We Use Information
We may use personal information for the following purposes:
4.1 Provide and operate the Services
We use information to:
- create and manage accounts;
- authenticate users and maintain account security;
- provide character chat, publishing, discovery, moderation, subscription, and other product features;
- process subscriptions and manage purchases;
- deliver support and respond to questions, requests, appeals, and reports; and
- maintain records needed to operate the Services.
4.2 Personalization and product experience
We use information to personalize your experience, such as:
- surfacing relevant characters, content, or features;
- remembering preferences and settings;
- improving recommendations, relevance, and ranking; and
- helping provide continuity across sessions and devices where applicable.
4.3 Safety, moderation, and abuse prevention
We use information to:
- detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, spam, platform manipulation, unauthorized access, and other misuse;
- enforce our Terms of Service, Community Rules, and other policies;
- review reports, appeals, moderation actions, and safety incidents;
- preserve records related to safety, moderation, legal claims, or enforcement; and
- protect Tigbit, users, third parties, and the public.
This may include use of IP address, device metadata, account activity, reports, moderation flags, and related content or logs.
4.4 Analytics, diagnostics, and service improvement
We use information to analyze usage, troubleshoot, measure performance, monitor reliability, fix bugs, improve features, and develop new tools, systems, and product capabilities.
4.5 Model improvement and training
We may use certain user data, including chat or character-related data, to improve, evaluate, develop, or train our systems and models, and to improve related third-party systems used to operate the Services.
Where we do so, we may use de-identified, anonymized, aggregated, transformed, sampled, or otherwise privacy-protective forms of data, and we may remove direct account identifiers before use where appropriate.
We may also use data for trust and safety model improvement, including moderation and abuse-detection systems.
4.6 Communications
We use information to send:
- transactional or service-related messages;
- support responses;
- policy, legal, and account notices;
- security alerts; and
- push notifications if you opt in.
If permitted by law and consistent with your preferences, we may also send product updates, feature announcements, surveys, or promotional communications.
4.7 Advertising and marketing
We may use information to market the Services, measure campaigns, understand audience interests, and support advertising and attribution.
If and when we work with advertising, measurement, or attribution partners, we may share limited information such as device identifiers, cookie data, usage signals, approximate location derived from IP, or inferred general interests or category preferences.
We do not share the content of your private chats with advertising partners for advertising purposes.

We use information to comply with applicable law, legal process, regulatory obligations, contractual requirements, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service providers and contractors
We may disclose information to vendors, service providers, contractors, and professional advisors that support the Services or our business, such as providers of hosting, analytics, diagnostics, infrastructure, security, support, moderation, communications, notifications, subscriptions, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, or other operational services.
5.2 Payment and subscription providers
Purchases and subscriptions may be processed by third parties such as Apple or Google. We may receive and disclose information as needed to confirm purchase status, manage subscriptions, handle support, prevent fraud, and maintain records.
5.3 Advertising, attribution, and analytics partners
If and when we use advertising, attribution, or measurement services, we may disclose identifiers, device metadata, usage information, and similar information to support analytics, attribution, campaign effectiveness, tailored marketing, or related purposes, subject to applicable law and user rights.
We do not disclose the content of private chat conversations to advertising partners for advertising purposes.
5.4 Public content and user-directed disclosures
If you publish a character or other content publicly, or otherwise make content available through public features, that content may be visible to other users and, depending on the feature, to the public.
Public content may remain visible or accessible even if you later delete your account, as described below and in our Terms of Service.
5.5 Safety, legal, and enforcement disclosures
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary or appropriate to:
- comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process;
- respond to lawful requests from regulators, law enforcement, or governmental authorities;
- enforce our Terms or policies;
- investigate fraud, abuse, harassment, infringement, or other harmful or unlawful conduct; or
- protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Tigbit, users, third parties, or the public.
5.6 Corporate transactions
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed to counterparties, advisors, and successors as part of that process, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to:
- keep you signed in;
- remember preferences;
- operate and secure the Services;
- understand usage and performance;
- measure campaign effectiveness; and
- support analytics, attribution, and, if applicable, advertising.
You may have choices to manage cookies or similar technologies through your browser, device, or platform settings, though disabling certain technologies may affect how the Services function.
7. Data Retention

7.1 Account deletion

If you delete your account:
- we may delete or anonymize certain account information, subject to technical, operational, legal, and compliance constraints;
- published characters and related public content may remain available on the Services under our platform continuity model, including under an anonymized or "Deleted User" attribution where appropriate;
- we may preserve records necessary to maintain active conversations, preserve character version continuity, or protect users and the integrity of the Services; and
- we may retain certain information for legal, safety, abuse-prevention, payment, audit, tax, accounting, moderation, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Some deleted information may also remain in secure backups for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted in the ordinary backup cycle.
7.2 Safety, moderation, and report records
We may retain reports, moderation records, investigation materials, abuse-prevention data, and related logs for a longer period where necessary for safety, compliance, repeat-offender detection, legal defense, fraud prevention, or other legitimate business and legal reasons.
7.3 De-identified and aggregated data
We may retain de-identified, anonymized, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal data for longer periods and use it for lawful business purposes, including analytics, service improvement, and model development.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, or alteration.
However, no method of transmission over the internet and no system of storage or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Tigbit is currently designed as a U.S.-based service.
